RC Dusters

The RC Dusters is a model airplane club located at Sandwich IL.  Our flying field is located aproximately 3 1/2 miles south of Sandwich on E 2750thrd , then left on N 4375th rd. Is a new field just constructed a couple years ago.  We were forced out of our old one near Leland by housing built to close too the field.   The club contact is Chuck Brieshke, 815- 498-1818.       This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Treasurer-Bill Brubaker.   Our meetings are held the second Wed. of each month at 7:00 PM.  In the winter meetings are held at the Sandwich Park District office.  Summer months are held at the field.  Is no electricity at he field for battery charging etc, so your own system would have to be used. There is  full pilot barrriers between the field and pits.   Is a porta-potti for relief. Is a frequency pin board that must be used! The field is totaly unobstructed except for a possible "dumb-thumb" into a corn or bean field!   AMA membership a must!     Guests welcome, Stop by and say "HI!" sometime!!     You can find our website under "RC Links ' in the top bar.
